1. Our Policy
At The Drape Story, each saree is a handpicked masterpiece that undergoes a rigorous quality check before being dispatched. To maintain the hygiene and exclusivity of our drapes, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind, color preference, or fabric feel.
All sales are final once the order is placed.
Mandatory Parcel Opening Video
To claim a return for a defective or damaged item, a continuous, unedited parcel opening video is mandatory.
- The video must clearly show the shipping label on the package.
- The video must show the opening of the package and the inspection of the entire saree from start to finish.
- In the absence of a complete opening video, we will be unable to process any claims regarding damage or missing items.
2. Defective or Damaged Items
In the rare event that you receive a product with a genuine manufacturing defect, we will offer a replacement or a refund. Please note that:
- Hand-loomed irregularities (minor weave variations, small knots, or thread overlaps) are NOT considered defects but are marks of an authentic handcrafted product.
- Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
3. How to Report an Issue
If your item is defective, please email us at info@thedrapestory.com or WhatsApp us with the following:
- Your Order Number
- The Mandatory Parcel Opening Video
- Close-up photographs of the specific defect
4. Refund Process
Once your claim and video are reviewed and approved by our quality team, we will initiate a replacement. If the same piece is unavailable, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
